TOSHIYUKI SHOJI

I was born in 1982 in Saitama, Japan.
After working as a guitarist and composer, I spent 13 years at Fuzzy Pedal Steel Guitar Products, where I was deeply involved in the manufacturing, modification, and maintenance of pedal steel guitars.
Through this hands-on work, I gained extensive experience in instrument design as well as a deep understanding of the practical needs of musicians in performance settings.
In 2025, I founded my own brand, SHOJI, and established SHOJI WORKSHOP LLC.
With a strong emphasis on the player’s perspective, I build pedal steel guitars that prioritize reliability, practicality, and musical usability.
